Sesame Showcases Latest Aircraft Protection Advancements at NBAA-BACE 2025

Washington, NC — At NBAA-BACE 2025, Sesame Technologies, Inc. is proud to showcase its latest advances in aircraft engine and pitot probe protection. These new innovations are designed to enhance aviation safety and performance, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, customization, and industry-leading design and manufacturing.

Aircraft Engine Protection

Sesame’s aircraft engine protection products, including the Diamond Engine Shield EX – Horizontal, Diamond Engine Shield EX – Vertical, and Executive Engine Exhaust Barrier, are now available for over 50 models of aircraft, including those manufactured by Gulfstream, Dassault, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer, Hawker Beechcraft, and Pilatus.

The newest variant of the Diamond Engine Shield EX is designed specifically for exhaust protection of aircraft with thrust reversers, including Falcon 2000s equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW308C engines.

Sesame is now offering customization of the Diamond Engine Shield EX, including direct-to-fabric printing of logos, aircraft registration numbers, or slogans, as well as an expanded palette of available fabrics. Customized products offer the same protection while allowing customers to add a personal touch. Sesame will display custom shields at the show.

After customer feedback, the storage bags for the Diamond Engine Shield EX have been reimagined. The new bags are more streamlined, lighter weight, and are designed to be hung in the aircraft or hangar storage compartments.

The team will also display the company’s new IPEX Inspection Camera Assembly. This device is designed to allow the inspection of aircraft engines from the ground, promoting crew safety and efficiency. The assembly is compatible with the IPEX Installation Pole used to install engine shields and barriers.

Sesame’s team will be demonstrating installation and removal of the Diamond EngineShield from life-size engines mounted above the tradeshow floor to replicate the operation of the cover on aircraft.

Pitot Probe Protection

Initially unveiled at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025, the Gold Armor GSE family of pitot probe covers will also be showcased at NBAA-BACE. Gold Armor GSE is a new class of aircraft avionics cover from Sesame Technologies, Inc., offering never-before-seen longevity and protection to military, commercial, and business aircraft due to its construction from DuPont™ Kevlar® EXO™.

Key features of Kevlar® EXO™ and Gold Armor GSE include increased abrasion resistance and higher-temperature tolerance, leading to longer life expectancy, product longevity, and increased protection to aircraft and personnel in the event of accidental heat cycles.
