It’s been a high-flying year here at Sesame Technologies, Inc. While we can’t share everything we have planned for 2026, we wanted to look back at the past year’s journey and share a brief glimpse of our flightpath going into the new year.

Tradeshow Appearances

For the first time, we exhibited at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The event saw record-breaking attendance with 704,000 attendees and more than 10,000 aircraft arrivals in the area. At the show, our team showcased Gold Armor GSE for the first time. Gold Armor GSE is a new class of aircraft avionics cover from Sesame Technologies, Inc., offering never-before-seen longevity and protection to military, commercial, and business aircraft due to its construction from DuPont™ Kevlar® EXO™.

Gold Armor GSE will be launched for executive aircraft in February 2026. To request early access to the product class, contact us for more information.

This year, we also exhibited at NBAA-BACE 2025 for the third time. The show was an exciting opportunity to showcase our latest advancements in aircraft engine and pitot probe protection and connect with customers and partners. At the show, our team displayed Gold Armor GSE, Executive Series GSE, and the Diamond Engine Shield EX.

Engineers Tony Chrismon and Sam Jarvis demonstrated installation and removal of the Diamond Engine Shield EX — Vertical on aircraft engines mounted above the tradeshow floor to replicate the operation of the cover on aircraft in the field. Tradeshow attendees were given the opportunity to experience the shield for themselves, learning operation sdirectly from the product’s designers.

Our team greatly enjoyed connecting with attendees and receiving product feedback from aircraft owners, operators, and pilots. The aviation community at NBAA-BACE expressed the impact of the Diamond Engine Shield EX on day-to-day operations, including increased safety and ease of use for pilots and crew.

Engine Protection Advancements

The Diamond Engine Shield EX is one of our most innovative products. First launched in2023, the shield revolutionized aircraft engine protection as the first collapsible poleinstallable aircraft engine cover able to be installed by a single crew member from the ground.

Last year, we launched the Diamond Engine Shield — Vertical, the variation of the shield designed specifically for super-midsize and large jets with space between the trailing edge of the wings and the leading edge of aft-mounted engines, including most Gulfstreams and Challengers.

This year, our research and development team continued to innovate on engine protection.

We expanded our availability of engine protection to more than 60 aircraft, including those manufactured by Gulfstream, Dassault, Cessna, Bombardier, Embraer, Hawker Beechcraft, and Pilatus. We also began offering shields for engine exhausts with thrust reversers.

We introduced customization of the shield, including direct-to-fabric printing of logos, aircraft registration numbers, or slogans, as well as an expanded palette of available fabrics. Customized products offer the same protection while allowing customers to add a personal touch.

Following customer feedback, we redesigned the storage bags for the Diamond Engine Shield EX. The new bags are more streamlined, lighter weight, and are designed to be hung in the aircraft or hangar storage compartments equipped with L-track.

We also developed the new IPEX Inspection Camera Assembly. This device is designed to allow the inspection of aircraft engines from the ground, promoting crew safety and efficiency. The assembly is compatible with the same IPEX Installation Pole used to install engine shields and barriers.

Demonstrations & Training

Going into this year, we expanded our demonstration and training services to all Executive Series GSE customers, including business aircraft owners, pilots, managers, and business aviation organizations. Previously, these services were only available to early adopters of the Diamond Engine Shield EX as part of our R&D process to receive feedback and perfect our design. These services bring our expert engineers to you, your hangar, and your aircraft.

This year, we conducted demonstrations and training at airports and private hangars across the country, from our local airports in North Carolina to those in New York, Ohio, Nevada, and many other states.

Next year promises even more travel, as we have already scheduled twelve training sessions and three demonstrations in the first two months of the new year.

We believe training is an integral part of the Diamond Engine Shield EX purchasing process and encourage our customers to participate in the program to ensure they get the most out of their product. Training allows our customers and their team to get hands-on insights into product installation, removal, and care to ensure their product is properly operated and their aircraft receives full protection.

The View from the Cockpit

We are charting an exciting course for 2026.

Our R&D and engineering teams are innovating new solutions to continue improving aircraft protection, personnel safety, and operational efficiency for our customers. In the new year, we are planning a facility expansion to support the increased demand for the Diamond Engine Shield EX. We are preparing for several appearances at tradeshows and industry events. We are also working to revitalize our website and develop more tools so that we can better serve our customers online, in person, and in the field.
