The KPC4T-EX offers probe tip protection for the Collins Aerospace SmartProbe® and is a great option for applications that do not require the Sesame Safety Lanyard System.
Constructed of non-melting Kevlar®, the KPC4T-EX provides 3 layers of protection and can protect the Pitot probe from accidental impact.
The KPC4T-EX offers the same level of protection and construction as the KPC6T-EX cover without the silicone head and Safety Lanyard System attachments.
The KPC4T-EX is assembled with DuPont Kevlar® installation loops to allow pole installation utilizing the IPEX Pitot Installation Adapter, allowing safe installation of the cover from the ground.
Outfitted with a NAS1756 approved warning streamer.
Manufactured in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom.
Manufactured under ISO9001 and AS9100D quality assurance requirements.
Meets CFR 25.853 requirements, test data is available upon request.
