The Diamond Engine Shield EX is an engine protection device that is designed to be safely installed by a single crew member from ground level.
Constructed of premium raw materials such as carbon fiber, high temperature silicones, 316L stainless steel, and with a synthetic outer layer, the Diamond Engine Shield EX is robust and durable enough to withstand extreme conditions.
Auto centering on the leading edge of the engine with high temperature silicone cushioning pads, the Diamond Engine Shield EX easily secures to the engine nacelle with no fasteners required.
The unique design of the bell mouth handle provides a secure connection point between the Diamond Engine Shield EX and the IP100-EX installation Pole.
The front bell mouth portion is equipped with a white glow-in-the-dark silicone pad for ease of locating the engagement point during nighttime operations. The pad doubles as a protective layer in case of accidental mishandling of the shield.
The Diamond Engine Shield EX cannot detach from the IP100-EX installation Pole until the user disengages the unique locking head.
Pre-fitted with positive attachments for Sesame Technologies’ Safety Lanyard System, ensuring a secure connection with all Executive Series GSE products.
The Diamond Engine Shield EX is completely collapsible and secured with a cinching strap for quick and easy storage. Each shield includes a micro installation tool.
Manufactured under ISO9001 and AS9100D quality assurance requirements.
Outfitted with a NAS1756 approved warning streamer.
